I’ve never been very interested in fingernails. I like keeping my toenails painted, but never my fingernails.<\/p>\n
I used to keep my nails pretty short because they were so brittle<\/strong> and broke easily<\/strong>, and I thought my fingernails looked funny with polish.<\/p>\n To be completely honest<\/strong>, I’d never heard of cuticle oil before Ana told me<\/a> about it.<\/p>\n I don’t know that I really had any expectations when I first tried Pure Nail Oil\u2122.<\/p>\n I do know that I did not<\/strong> expect to be completely blown away! I had no clue a nail oil could completely change<\/strong> my nails!<\/p>\n When I first applied the oil, I could feel a difference immediately<\/strong>! Who doesn’t like a little instant gratification?<\/p>\n Within a week<\/strong> my nails began to bend–NOT break<\/strong>–and my hangnails healed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I was able to perform Herculean feats like button up my pants, bring in groceries and pack a suitcase and make it through the airport without breaking a single nail!<\/strong><\/p>\n Even the fine lines in my skin all but disappeared.<\/p>\n I was shocked<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I know, it sounds like the hyped up promises on a makeup commercial made by hungry, 20-year-old airbrushed and photoshopped models who are feeling guilty for eating that last piece of celery.<\/p>\n But my results speak louder<\/strong> than words\u2014without Photoshop.<\/p>\n But don’t let that fool you. This oil isn’t perfect–there IS a problem with Pure\u2122.<\/p>\n With consistent use, your nails are going to get too long<\/strong>!!! I’ve actually had to trim<\/strong> my nails because the got too long to type or text comfortably\u2014they were delightfully obnoxious.<\/p>\n Never would have thought I’d have this problem!<\/p>\n My boys<\/strong> (5 and 7) ask me to oil their nails whenever I whip out my Pure\u2122 oil pen.<\/p>\n They love the smell<\/strong> and will sniff their fingers with appreciative “Ahhhhh’s” when they exhale.\u00a0(It’s a good thing this oil doesn’t have a bunch of icky chemicals I can’t pronounce!)<\/p>\n When I ran out of my first order, I tried a couple of other cuticle oils<\/strong> with similar ingredients. They were okay, and my results were “meh.”<\/strong><\/p>\n When I switched back<\/strong> to Pure, the contrast in the feel in my nails hooked me for life.<\/strong><\/p>\n In a nutshell,\u00a0Pure Nail Oil\u2122<\/a>\u00a0has:<\/p>\nNo Expectations<\/h2>\n
